RETRO train in 2020

 

In the season running from April to September the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum in Sochaczew organizes rides by narrow-gauge RETRO train for tourists. 

 

In 2020 season, the RETRO narrow gauge train will run in the following dates*:

 

  • APRIL: April 25th (Saturday - the open of the touristic season) and April 26th (Sunday);
  • MAY: May 1st (Friday), May 2nd (Saturday), May 3rd (Sunday), May 9th (Saturday), May 10th (Sunday), May 17th (Saturday), May 23rd(Saturday), May 24th (Sunday), May 30th (Saturday) and May 31st (Sunday);
  • JUNE: June 6th (Saturday), June 7th (Sunday), June 12th (Friday), June 13th (Saturday), June 14th (Sunday), June 20th (Saturday), June 21st (Sunday), June 27nd (Saturday) and 28th (Sunday);
  • JULY:  July 1st (Wednesdat), July 3rd (Friday) July 4th (Saturday), July 5th (Sunday), July 8th (Wednesday), July 10th (Friday), July 11th (Saturday), July 12th (Sunday), July 15th (Wednesday), July 17th (Friday), July 18th (Saturday), July 19th (Sunday), July 22nd (Wednesday), July 24th (Friday), July 25th (Saturday), July 26th (Sunday), July 29th (Wednesday) and July 31st (Friday);
  • AUGUST: August 1st (Saturday), August 2nd (Sunday), August 5th (Wednesday), August 7th (Friday), August 8th (Saturday), August 9th (Sunday), August 12th (Wednesday), August 14th (Friday), August 15th (Saturday), August 186h (Sunday), August 19th (Wednesday), August 21nd (Friday), August 22th (Saturday), August 23th (Sunday), August 26th (Wednesday), August 28th (Friday), August 29 th (Saturday) and August 30th (Sunday);
  • SEPTEMBER: September 5th (Saturday), September 6th (Sunday), September 12th (Saturday), September 13th (Sunday), September 19th (Saturday), September 20th (Sunday), September 26th (Saturday) and September 27th (Sunday);
  • OCTOBER: October 3rd (Saturday), October 10th (Saturday), October 17th (Saturday) and October 24th (Saturday)  - the end of the touristic season).

    * On April 25th, May 2nd, May 9th, May 23rd, May 30th, June 6th, June 13th, June 20th, June 27th, July 4th, July 11th, July 18th, July 25th, August 1st, August 8th, August 22th, August 29th, September 5th, September 12th, September 19th, September 26th, October 3rd, October 10th, October 17th and October 24th, the courses will be carried out using the Px29-1704 steam engine. For technical reasons, the museum reserves the right to change the leading locomotive.

 

RETRO narrow gauge train’s schedule*:

  •  9.50–10.30 – museum guided tours
  • 10.30–11.45 – RETRO train travel to the Kampinos Forest (Wilcze Tułowskie)**
  • 11.45–12.25 – guided walk in the Kampinos Forest
  • 12.25–12.34 – return to Tułowice
  • 12.34–14.14 – party with fire in Osada Puszczańska in Tułowice***
  • 14.14–15.20 – RETRO train’s return to Sochaczew

 

*For technical reasons, the museum reserves the right to change the locomotive running the RETRO train

**In some cases the train runs on a shortened line, reaching its final destination at Tułowice station. In such case we will inform you about changes to the schedule before the purchase.

***You can participate with your own lunch or buy it in a food point in Osada Puszczańska.

 

Ticket prices for RETRO train

  • RETRO regular ticket – 29 PLN
  • RETRO reduced ticket – 23 PLN
  • RETRO ticket without seat reservation (for children up to 4 years) – 9 PLN
  • RETRO bike transport ticket – 11 PL

Narrow Gauge Railway Museum’s ticket office is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9.00 to 16.30.
